The Senior Data Scientist, Marketing Services is responsible for providing conceptual insights, problem structuring, modeling, and other analytic support to the Marketing team.  This position reports to the Manager of Marketing Services Data Science and will work closely with other teams within Marketing to drive informed strategic decision-making. The Senior Data Scientist has several primary responsibilities including collecting, combining and analyzing data to develop insights – (e.g., grower transactions, product sales performance, profitability, etc.) and will build analytical models to address the needs of the business. The Senior Data Scientist will cultivate and continuously deepen expertise in agricultural inputs through this role while further developing problem-solving skills and commercial knowledge.     What you will do: - Integrate data sources, systems, and reports (e.g., pricing, CRM, sales data) - Improve data availability by acting as a liaison between Marketing Services, IT, and digital teams - Create and modify computer programs to extract information from company databases - Analyze data through programming languages (SQL, R, Python) and developing reporting systems (e.g., Power BI) to provide insights into real-time commercial performance as well as weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports - Collaborate with business and internal stakeholders to translate complex functional and technical requirements and validation criteria into user-friendly tools for the sales and marketing teams - Provide insight to data architecture needs and stop-gap support to enable meaningful work - Manage business processes with the field sales team to share insights and provide reports - Provide mentorship to junior members of the team as well as serving as a lead developer What you will bring: - Masters degree (PhD preferred) in a quantitative discipline such as computer science, statistics, data science, mathematics, economics or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Expertise with R and/or Python and proficiency in SQL is required - 3+ years of experience with data analysis and preparation, including experience with very large data sets (requiring big-data techniques), and sparse or poor-quality (requiring data engineering) - Experience using cloud based platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) preferred. We look for people who have a safety-first mindset, who are collaborative team players, who deliver on their commitments, who are innovators in search of a better way, and who believe in inclusion.    Working at Nutrien Ag Solutions will provide you an opportunity to help us Feed the Future, and grow your career.    Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Class A Mechanic is responsible for directly influencing the quantity and quality of maintenance conducted on all plant processing equipment, plant operational support equipment and plant facility systems to include facility structures.  This position requires a highly skilled individual with expert technical knowledge and experience in all levels of industrial maintenance to include but not limited to, equipment/facility inspection, modification & repair, equipment/facility predictive & preventive maintenance, new construction, and fabrication.  The Class A Mechanic must also be “production alert” with the ability to make quick, unaided decisions to expedite returning non-operational equipment to operational status.  He/she must be able to perform all assigned duties and responsibilities with minimal supervision and must able to train and direct other junior mechanics and production personnel in plant maintenance, equipment set up, and equipment operation.   What you will do:   - Perform general day-to-day equipment and facility upkeep necessary to maintain a high level of operational efficiency and equipment/facility serviceability. - Ensure that accurate and adequate work orders are written as required on all equipment and facility discrepancies and that appropriate and timely actions are taken to correct outstanding discrepancies. - Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in coordinating with production supervisors in scheduling of all, non-emergency scheduled and unscheduled equipment and facility maintenance. - Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in ensuring that critical production equipment spare parts and critical facility system spare parts are either on hand or readily available from external resources. - Ensure that the Maintenance Supervisor is made immediately aware of equipment or facility issues that may affect safety, quality or production. - Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor, OEM and other technical representatives in resolving equipment performance issues, equipment malfunctions/diagnostics, and equipment modifications. - Assist the production supervisors as necessary to ensure smooth, safe, consistent and quality operation of all process and facility equipment. - Other duties as assigned What you will bring:   - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience. - Must be physically and medically capable of wearing a respirator during entire work shift. - At least six-years work experience in a similar or related industrial position. - Must have a thorough working knowledge of typical industrial mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, steam and environmental systems. - Must be a proficiency cutter and welder (technical college training preferred). - Must have well-developed fabricating skills. - Must have knowledge and experience in performing preventive maintenance of industrial type equipment and industrial facilities. - Must have knowledge and experience in identifying and ordering repair parts. - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, employee handbook, operating/maintenance instructions and procedural documents. - Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and division. - Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. - Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. frequently during entire shift. - Good manual dexterity. - Ability to stoop and bend frequently. - Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time. - Able to climb stairs and ladders. - Capable of entering and working in a confined space. - Capable of working in varying temperatures. - Good attendance required.
