What you will do:   Strategic Supplier Management for North American Crop Protection: - Responsible for Branded CP strategic supplier management in US and Canada - Manage day-to-day business initiatives in collaboration with internal business functions, RCMs, Global Generic and Southern Hemisphere Strategic Supplier Management, Loveland Products, etc. - Collaborate with US and Canada for CP strategy, product alignment, leverage and execution - Management of Regional and key segment specific CP initiatives and business objectives - Management and oversight of supplier programs, pricing, rebates, product and open-space allocations, etc., in collaboration with rebate operations, purchasing and supply chain teams - Provide purchase and sales plan guidance aligned with business strategy and objectives - Management and oversight of vendor approval for setup process in keeping with vendor, product and active ingredient consolidation strategy and initiatives Accountable for branded strategic supplier management, collaborations and negotiations: - North American accountability for branded supplier relations, collaborations and negotiations - Ensure strategic supplier margin and working capital improvement through collaborations and negotiations - Ensure North American supplier rebate management excellence - Ensure US and Canada collaboration for insights and execution excellence including branded supplier consolidation - Ensure supplier and RCM alignment in the field for success Collaborate for branded strategic supplier management marketing and solutions ideation, development and negotiation: - Internal collaboration with Fertilizer, Seeds, Digital, Marketing, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Finance and Legal - Internal collaboration with Commercial Development, Commercial Execution and Portfolio Optimization teams - Internal collaboration with countries, regions and divisions - External collaboration with R&D strategic suppliers and adjacent players Strategic portfolio planning and optimization: - Ensure portfolio plans are built across all indications and in alignment with crop strategies, drive / monitor execution - Ensure collaboration for Brand and Generic portfolio strategy for maximum margin and greater customer satisfaction - Assist North American portfolio ideation process, development approach and prioritization in the context of open space, back integration into R&D suppliers - Ensure collaboration excellence with Loveland Products for strategy builds and execution excellence What you will bring: - Bachelor’s degree is required, MBA preferred - Minimum of ten (10) years progressive experience in CP P&L, operations, retail / distribution, and/or negotiations - A combination of education and skills will be considered including preferred global crop protection marketing and product management experience - Must have the ability to work with and maintain a good working relationship with a diverse employee and customer base - Must have excellent oral and written communications skills, including presentation skills - Ability to travel as needed. This is a seasonal position that will start in January / February 2020 and will end late summer/early fall 2020. What you will do: - Transport loads of seed, chemicals and fertilizer to proper destinations, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations. - Chock rear wheels of truck or trailer prior to unloading.  To remove chocks prior to driving away from shipping dock. - Obtain shipping bills of lading and necessary signatures and return completed paper work to shipping office.  To maintain any related records required. - Must be able to lift and move up to 65 pounds. - Remove empty skids from trailer truck and carry to designated piling area. - Perform miscellaneous service duties such as checking on a daily basis: oil, water, fuel and air in tires.  - Report any maintenance malfunctions to shipping and/or warehouse supervisor. - Use forklift to move product around warehouse and load trucks. - Sweep warehouse during down time. - Assist with inventory counts if needed. - Assist with other operations as needed. - This summary of job responsibilities and duties is meant to be a general description of this position and is not all-inclusive. What you will bring: - Applicant must have a valid Class A CDL   - Must use tact and diplomacy in dealing with customer personnel at delivery points. - Must be dependable, reliable, and competent to handle equipment safely. - May at times, sit in trailer cab for periods of time. - Must meet Department of Transportation physical and medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening; as a safety sensitive employee subject to random and other required substance abuse screening as per company policy. - Applicant must be willing to work additional hours and Saturdays as needed to meet business demands during busy periods of the year.  Are you a good match? Coordinating with the maintenance lead technician when needed - Equipment rebuilds during off peak season - Basic preventative maintenance including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery and rebuild of gearboxes, valves, pumps and equipment components - Assists in the lay out, assembly, and installation of pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment as directed - Assists in the fabrication and/or repair of machinery and infrastructure - Sets up and operate machine tools such as pipe cutter, threader, grinder, drill, and other machines to repair equipment. - Record and communicate part usage so that plant inventory is maintained - Complete preventative maintenance work order paperwork, parts ordering paperwork and develop bill of materials for jobs to be planned - Ensure proper snow removal takes place prior to other employees arriving at the plant - Tractor mowing as required to maintain neat exterior - Have a working knowledge of safe chemical handling - Be constantly alert to any unsafe work areas, working conditions or employees working in an unsafe manner - Assist all plant personnel in seeking ways to eliminate waste and inefficiency throughout plant - Perform such other duties as may be assigned from time to time What you will bring: - High school diploma, 2yr technical schooling preferred or equivalent work experience                   - General fabrication techniques including ability to properly weld using Tig and/or GMAW set ups (both preferred), use of plasma cutter, torch. - Working knowledge of manufacturing or industrial maintenance activities (electrical and mechanical aptitude) - Basic knowledge of instrumentation types (photo-eyes, transmitters, float switches, etc…) - Forklift operator - Good math, organizational and people skills - Ability to read, write and understand the English language - Ability to utilize maintenance software for work order creation, closing of work orders and entering of work order closing comments – SAP, EAM, or the like - Self-starter – ability to prioritize work around production demands, work from a general planned schedule and communicate work order status, issues - Ability to independently diagnose and troubleshoot equipment including understanding of 120, 240 and 480VAC.  Ability to correctly use and diagnose problems using Mulimeter, Megger, Amp clamp. - Ability to pass basic electrical maintenance and troubleshooting qualification - Ability to read and interpret blue-prints, sketches and technical drawings related to production equipment - Ability read and understand electrical one line diagrams, electrical schematics, and relay logic - Prior experience with PLC’s is preferred but not required - Preferred knowledge packaging machinery (conveyors, fillers, cappers, labelers, palletizers, etc...) and controls (back up sensors, auto stop/start functions, limit switches, etc…) - Ability to lift at least 25 lbs frequently during shift and 50 lbs occasionally - Good manual dexterity, vision and hearing - Ability to stoop and bend frequently - Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time - Able to climb stairs and ladders - Capable and willing to enter and work in a confined space - Capable of working in varying temperatures - Must be physically and medically capable of wearing a respirator             - Ability to work from elevated platform, scaffolds, ladders or lift basket Are you a good match?
