    Blender Operator (Mid Valley/Hopmere, Oregon, U.S.A.)

    What you will do:

    • Create liquid and granular fertilizer blends
    • Maintain accounts and inventory
    • Maintain compliance with all Safety, Environmental and Operating Standards
    • Provide customer service for internal and external customers
    • Operate plant systems
    • Monitor and oversee quality control of the blended product(s)
    • Engage in Preventative Maintenance Program on equipment
    • Load (or assist in loading and unloading) trucks and trailers
    • Handle company owned equipment in a safe and efficient manner
    • Set-up equipment
    • Lift and move up to 75 pounds, as required
    • Other duties as assigned
    • Note: As a safety-sensitive employee, must pass substance abuse screening, and be subject to random and other required substance abuse screening, as per company policy

    What you will bring:

    • Valid driver's license is required
    • Tactfulness and diplomacy when dealing with customers
    • Safety first approach when handling equipment and vehicles
    • General knowledge of warehouse procedures
    • Ability to work Saturdays, and additional hours as required
    • Dependable and reliable attitude, and maturity to handle equipment safely
    • Ability to read and write English
    • Demonstrated experience in vocational agricultural or a combination of education and work experience
    • Mechanic skills
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, problem solving, math and organizational skills
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Basic computer skills 
    • Detail-oriented
