    Job Description:

    Reporting directly to the Operation's Supervisor, the Dry Plant Operations Coordinator is responsible for blending dry fertilizer, insures the quality of the product, efficiency, safety and smooth operation of equipment. 

     

    Specific Responsibilities Include: 

    • Compliance with all Safety, Environmental and Operating Standards
    • Providing leadership, supervision, and planning to achieve all dry plant operating objectives
    • Competent operation of all dry plant systems
    • Bulk dry truck loading and offloading of train cars and trucks
    • Handles all aspects of receiving, shipping, and storing of dry fertilizer
    • Maintains and accounts for inventory
    • Interaction with Manager for shop personnel hours
    • Engages in Preventative Maintenance Program on equipment
    • Running dry loader to keep dry bins full
    • Other Duties as assigned

    Required Skills:

    • CDL may be required
    • Self-starter, with a strong work ethic and proven track record of delivering on commitments
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, problem solving, math and organizational skills
    • Strong Customer service skills
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate people
    • Basic Computer skills required
    • Good attendance required
    • High School GED/diploma or demonstrated experience in vocational agriculture or a combination of education and work experience
