    Reporting to the Supervisor, Retail Seed Accounting, the Retail Seed Accountant is responsible for reconciliation of seed operation accounting entries and accounts. This will include monthly GL reconciliations, journal entries, research, evaluation, and reporting. 

    Key Tasks:

    • Reconciles and monitors assigned balance sheet accounts
    • Month end entries to record accruals, allocation entries, and clearing of activity as appropriate for assigned balance sheet accounts
    • Coordinates with suppliers, retail branches and accounts payable to assist in invoice coding and supplier account reconciliation
    • Provide direction to retail branches on proper seed accounting procedures including phone, webinar, and in person trainings as needed
    • Prepares and distributes monthly reports to show marketing activity
    • Ad hoc projects as requested

    • Advanced written and verbal communication skills


    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
    • Strong Excel/Office skills
