    Loveland Products Inc., a division of CPS, offers a complete line of high performance crop input products including seed treatment, plant performance, nutritionals, adjuvant and crop protection products. Loveland Products brings new, unique chemistries to the marketplace to provide innovative solutions to problems across the agricultural and professional non-crop industries.

     

    Key Tasks:

    • Track and analyze procurement metrics for plants and supply chain, preparing reports and presentations.
    • Administer bidding process for raw materials towards 6, 9, and one year contracts using eProcurement and manual bidding methods.
    • Communicate and administer bid awards and initiate the supply agreement process.
    • Administer the new supplier onboarding process, including viability analysis and initiating the Non-Disclosure Agreement process.
    • Administer the chemical qualification process for new or alternate supply through plant QA labs, working with suppliers to get the correct samples to the correct labs.
    • Work with regulatory managers to initiate and track approved new or additional raw material sources of supply revisions to required regulatory documentation.
    • Administer purchasing to contract system data within the ERP system; entering, maintaining pricing data, and using tracking tools to assist operations and supply chain buyers in decision making.
    • Track and communicate supplier performance metrics including on time delivery, compliance to agreements, etc.
    • Collect and analyze market intelligence and raw material purchasing trends, suggesting adjustments in product classification, purchasing timing, etc.
    • All other duties as assigned.

    Skills: 

    • Understanding of trade secret and competitive disclosure confidentiality.
    • Team player ready to work with many cross functional teams in multiple business units.
    • Motivated self-starter with a high degree of attention to details.
    • Working knowledge of basic ERP and MRP functions.
    • High proficiency with MS Office Applications, especially MS Excel advanced functions.
    • Strong time management skills.
    • High level of written communication skills, especially the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Business, Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or
    • Associates degree in related field plus at least 3 years in purchasing with legal supply agreement familiarity.
    • APICS or related professional certifications preferred.
