    Job Summary:

     

    An analytical and software-proficient professional committed to supporting project coordinators and project teams to facilitate the timely integration of newly acquired locations through the application of superior project management methods, techniques, tools, training and team effectiveness.

     

    Key Tasks:

    • Work with the project coordinator and functional team leads to ensure the timely collection, formatting, and transfer of information pertinent for acquisition integrations.
    • Point of contact for employees of new acquisitions and for business users with questions regarding acquisitions.
    • Enter project data into project scheduling software during project planning, re-planning and control sessions.
    • Assist project coordinator during control meetings by displaying pertinent project views and running project management software.
    • Prepare drafts of memorandums and action item lists for project coordinator’s review/approval.
    • Generate project report packages to inform the project coordinator, project team members and functional managers of status, issues and responsibility. These would include the following:

      • Gantt charts (critical path, responsibility, early start, deliverables, phase, etc.) displaying project schedule.
      • Network diagrams showing a more graphical representation of the project.
      • Tabular reports (activity update forms, etc.) providing non-graphical project views.
      • Maintain/archive updated project files/databases.
    • File copies of all documents pertaining to the Integration process, including policies, procedures and standards, and seek opportunities to improve the project success.
    • Assist with developing and maintaining an Integration Playbook detailing each functional team’s acquisition process.
    • Become familiar with activities and networking logic in all assigned projects.
    • Lead efforts related to planning and coordinating update meeting venues and logistics as needed.
    • Potentially some travel related to new acquisition sites.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree desired (Business is preferred) with 0-2 years of work experience
    • Has led or participated in a project with cross-functional project teams, multiple deliverables and using formal project management techniques.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or ability and willingness to learn and become proficient with the P6 software tools.
    • Good listener with strong analytical and organizational skills.
    • Good oral and written communication abilities.
    • Highly motivated, self-starter requiring little supervision.
    • Team player with good people skills.
    • Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
    • Good attendance required.
