    Position Summary:

     

    The Agronomy Services Manager supports sales and marketing efforts related to product performance and product placement while working closely with Regional and Division people to build confidence in product adoption and utilization.

     

    Key Tasks:

    • A key role of this position is working with Regional Market Development Managers and Division Agronomists to build materials both written and digital that support their efforts in educating and training sales staff on Dyna-Gro products and services. Including but not limited to:
    • Agronomic bulletins, both seasonal and special needs.
    • Special trials data both internal and external.
    • National level product performance information.
    • Responsible for development and delivery of all seed related training programs.
    • The position is responsible for developing and managing 3rd party testing in agronomy related educational projects as well as new non-seed related products ie., seed treatments etc.
    • Work closely with Product Management and marketing to build new product launch materials both written and digital and coordinate the distribution of the information.
    • Support Regions and Divisions with meetings and field days.
    • Assist with Nutrien Regional Training Facilities events.
    • Working with Regions and Divisions in facilitation of the annual Dyna-Gro Road Show events
    • Identify and communicate both short and long-term needs and plans to the Dyna-Gro Brand Manager.
    • Identify and share key opportunities and issues with the Dyna-Gro Brand Manager.
    • Anticipate and recognize changes and react to new opportunities in the marketplace.
    • Maintain appropriate records and communicate current activities and results to the Dyna-Gro Brand Manager.
    • Safety – Drive and maintain a strong culture of safety in all aspects of the position
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • A Bachelors degree in an Agriculturally related field strongly desired.
    • Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in seed side of the agricultural industry.
    • Sales and Marketing experience a strong plus.
    • Positive on farm interactive experience a strong plus
    • A combination of education and skills will be considered.
    • Must have the ability to work with and maintain a good working relationship with an extremely diverse employee and customer base.
    • Effectively demonstrate self-motivation, initiative, assertiveness and results orientation.
    • Must have the ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
    • Must have excellent oral and written communications skills along with leadership abilities, interpersonal and presentation skills
    • Ability to travel as needed. Expected travel 30%-40%
    • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check and drug screen are required.
