    Position Summary: 

    The OreGro Seeds Brand Manager position is responsible for the overall management of the OreGro grass and forage seeds business, both domestic and international. The position will provide leadership for increasing sales both inside the Nutrien sales organization as well as through wholesale customers in the U.S. and worldwide. This position will report to the Dyna-Gro Brand Manager.


    Key Tasks:


    • Lead and provide oversight to all aspects and operations of the facility to ensure safety, efficiency, and profitability.
    • Direct both the Domestic and International Sales Managers to:
    • Build internal sales domestically through Crop Production Services divisions.
    • Build sales domestically with existing and new wholesale accounts.
    • Build internal sales internationally with Nutrien’s Australian and South American business units.
    • Build sales internationally with existing and new wholesale accounts.
    • Engage with the National Forage and Cover Crops seed manager to develop and build cover crop seed strategies for the U.S. market internally.
    • The position is responsible for strategy, building effective marketing approaches and executing effectively to desired results.
    • Responsible for building a yearly and multi-year business plan that will optimize assets and investments in exceeding annual goals and reviewing with the Dyna-Gro Brand Manager.
    • Track competitors and recommend appropriate marketing strategies and tactical adjustments.
    • Work with the breeding product development group to provide direction for new product needs and implementation of technical marketing communication.
    • Identify and share key opportunities with the Dyna-Gro Brand Manager.
    • Anticipate and recognize changes and react to new opportunities in the marketplace.
    • Maintain appropriate records and communicate current activities and results to the Dyna-Gro Brand Manager.
    • Safety – Drive and maintain a strong culture of safety in all aspects of the business and facilities with all employees.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    • Good attendance required.


    • Bachelor’s degree in an Agricultural-related field strongly desired.
    • Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in sales, marketing, market development, and management required.
    • A combination of education and skills will be considered.
    • Must have the ability to work with and maintain a good working relationship with a diverse employee and customer base.
    • Ability to effectively demonstrate self-motivation, initiative, assertiveness and results-orientation.
    • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
    • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple people, priorities and projects simultaneously.
    • Must have excellent oral and written communications skills along with leadership abilities, interpersonal and presentation skills
    • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as needed. Required travel estimated at 20%
    • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check and drug screen are required.
