    Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Liquid Plant Operator is responsible for the manufacturing and blending of liquid fertilizer. Insures the quality of product, efficiency and safety, and smooth operation of equipment.


    Key Tasks:

    • Compliance with all Safety, Environmental and Operating Standards
    • Providing leadership, supervision, and planning to achieve all liquid plant operating objectives
    • Competent operation of all liquid plant systems
    • Measure bulk tanks, loading and offloading bulk tanks
    • Monitors and overseas quality control of mixing and blending the product
    • Handles all aspects of receiving, shipping, and storing of liquid fertilizer
    • Participate in phases of employee management, including "write-up" of employees when disciplinary actions are needed
    • Maintains and accounts for inventory
    • Engages in Preventative Maintenance Program on equipment
    • Other duties as assigned


    • CDL maybe required
    • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and proven track record of delivering on commitments
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, problem solving, math and organizational skills
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate people
    • Basic computer skills required
    • Good attendance required


    • High School diploma/GED or Demonstrated Experience in vocational agricultural or a combination of education and work experience
