    Tenneessee Chemical Marketing Manager- Union City, TN 

    Position Summary:

    The CPS Marketing Manager is responsible for growing market share of all Chemical and Loveland Brand Products within the designated geography/Division.  Position reports to Division General Manager.

     

    Responsibilities include:

    • Develop, implement and executethe Division Marketing Plan to retain and increase revenues and overall gross profits.
    • Assist in leading and directing daily operations of farm centers to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
    • Coordinate with Seed Marketing Manager and Dyna-Gro Agronomist on product testing and trials.
    • Stay abreast of developments and technology innovation in agriculture
    • Assist facility managers in resolving customer complaints.
    • Develop a working relationship with suppliers to benefit mutual business interests.
    • Demonstrate consistent professionalism and integrity
    • Community involvement and promotion of CPS.  Assist with Field Days and grower meetings.
    • Safety leadership mentality is a must in order to be successful in this role.  Promote and enforce Safety-Health & Environmental programs.
    • Work directly with Facility Managers and Crop Consultants to execute marketing programs.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Desired qualifications:

    • Agronomy/Agricultural based degree and 10 years of sales/management experience
    • Very high degree of oral and written communication capabilities and good listening skills
    • Good persuasive and motivational skills with the ability to quickly develop personal relationships to influence business
    • Strongbusiness acumen with entrepreneurial mindset
    • Thorough understanding of fertilizer and agricultural chemical business 
    • Required knowledge/understanding of facility operation and equipment
    • Computer skills in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Exchange, etc.)
