    Nutrien’s Retail Digital Solutions team is looking for an E-Commerce Product Owner that will collaborate with the Business Owner to develop the vision for our Omni-channel experience with Nutrien Ag Solutions. The Product Owner will be responsible to translate the vision into features and user stories and ensure the team knows with accurate detail what they are expected to build. The Product Owner defines and prioritizes the efforts of the Digital Agile team(s), collaborates with the development team and Scrum Master to develop, design, build and launch the product. When necessary works with internal stakeholders to ensure that needs of the end users are incorporated into the product design. Ensures that final product aligns with product vision.


    Key Tasks:

    • Leads product to overall success
    • Observes, learns about, contacts and analyzes end users of the product
    • Gathers user requirements and translate them into user stories
    • Clearly communicates the requirements to the team
    • Writes new user stories
    • Creates, maintains and prioritizes the product backlog
    • Specifies acceptance criteria for each user story
    • Gives feedback to the development team
    • Facilitates release planning with stakeholders
    • Participates in sprint meetings
    • Works with multiple teams to understand the requirements and constraints for building the product
    • Works closely with Field Adoption Team to identify new use cases, incorporate user feedback into product development
    • Tracks and measures product customer success
    • Integrates usability studies and research into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction and ensure customer driven design

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5 years of Product Owner experience, with an emphasis on E-commerce, ideally demonstration a basic level of understanding of the agricultural industry
    • Experience gathering requirements and translating into user requirements
    • Familiarity with engineering, technology, UX, and development preferred
    • Experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager with software products preferred
    • Have knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies
    • Strong leader, collaborator, team player, and individual contributor
    • Solid communication skills with comfort in speaking with senior leaders
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
    • Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically
    • Brings a high-energy and passionate outlook to the job and can influence those around them
    • Able to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates a comfortable & effective workplace
    • Passion for innovation and “can do” attitude
