Forestry Sales Representative– Remote - Arkansas (AR) Territory

What you will do:

  • Sell company products and services within the Forestry market within the Arkansas territory
  • Maintain sales programs within assigned territory/accounts
  • Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales of Forestry management products, services and solutions designed to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Assure customer satisfaction of products: on time and accurate delivery and quality of product
  • Monitor competitive activity and trends
  • Keep records and prepare reports on sales activities as required
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of product features, benefits and use
  • Maintain continuing education on marketing techniques, products and services
  • Provide training to employees as needed
  • Initiate trials that support marketing efforts
  • Represent Nutrien Ag Solutions at various trade shows & related industry meetings
  • Research and respond to technical inquiries.  Consult with regional, national sales management and key brand manufacturers on issues and prescribe appropriate actions to resolve issues.  Resolve issues associated with adverse product results
  • Develop sales of proprietary surfactants and adjuvant formulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Agricultural, or Environmental Science desired
  • 1+ years’ experience in vocational vegetation management especially in forestry, roadside and invasive species management and have a good knowledge of the markets
  • Valid driver’s license is required
  • Overnight Travel is required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a pesticide license
